Mindful Emotional Clearing Meditation

This meditation combines Buddhist mindfulness techniques with the power of our chi in our Lower Dantian, the area behind our belly button.

  1. Begin by drawing light from the Universe into your Lower Dantian by breathing it in and simply imagining it like in the photo on the left. Do it several times as you like. It may nourish your chi.
  2. Usually, emotions inhabit somewhere in our body. Negative ones can also be trapped somewhere in your body parts or your chakras, mainly the solar plexus area, causing blockages and many other problems.
  3. Keeping half of your focus on your Lower Dantian, set your intention to let the other half always travel around and scan your body throughout your meditation, being alert to spot any emotion like pain or distress. 
  4. And free your emotions. Do not suppress them. When a negative emotion hits, send your chi in your Lower Dantian to that emotion simply by imagining, as seen in the photo. Use this defense technique to dispel any unwanted emotions during the day.
  5. The more and longer you sit to meditate, the more effective they will be.
